Red at the Red Barn Theatre in Key West Florida
1 month ago
This is a special eleven-performance run of the acclaimed 2010 Tony Award-winning play running at the Red Barn Theatre from January 18-28. Red is a searing portrait of the master abstract expressionist Mark Rothko and his young assistant. Ambition and vulnerability go hand in hand as Rothko tries to create his crowning achievement that could also become his undoing.
“[Red is] intense and exciting. It’s impossible not to feel thrilled.” Ben Brantley, The New York Times.
For tickets, visit redbarntheatre.com or call the box office at 305-296-9911 between 1 and 6pm daily. Red Barn Theatre is located at 319 Duval Street in Old Town, Key West.
Red is directed by Carole MacCartee and stars Glenn Wilson as Rothko and Quincy Perkins as his assistant.
