This is Canon's AVCHD hard disk drive camcorder for 2008. It has a 1/3.2-inch CMOS chip with a gross pixel count of 3.3 megapixels, records in full 1920 x 1080 and features an internal 120GB hard disc drive. I was able to sneak a test at PMA09 (Photo Marketing Association) Las Vegas, March 1-5, 2009. It was shot in 1080/30p in the high quality setting (24Mbps), so do take that into consideration when assessing the result.
