Here is another fire fluid simulation using Maya 2012, nparticles and fluid dynamics.
Again I am using the old method of emitting nparticles from objects to drive the velocity of my fluid, simple and efficient.
I did increase the substepsto 2 to kind of keep the fire fairly stable, as with more steps the velocity per step is proportionately lower however 2 works well here. As usual I added a little damp on the fluid since this sometimes helps.
