My first creative video stretch, and first vimeo post, I've learned a great deal from this project, mostly to do with lighting.

I have a bunch of ideas similar to this and I'm hella looking forward to sharing them, I only really discovered vimeo a few months ago and what a smashing bunch of people I appear to have been missing.

Interesting concept, I dig the tune. What camera was this shot on? How long did it take in editing?

I shot all the footage on a Samsung HMX20C, the fisheye stuff is the same camera with a Raynox semi-fish-eye taped to the front. It doesn't cope very well in low light situations, in April I'll be starting a new project along the same lines and I already have a list of improvements as long as my arm.

I've been editing it in little bits for about a week, I'd say I spent around 20 hours in total tinkering with it in post.

Hey Higham, Top tune, just perfect for the Curragh's new album, like it my Shire dwelling buddy.

you should have won the weekend project.

you actually have the chops and musicality to put together a real song, unlike the other two; they were more video than music.

Thanks Ted, the next project has a more defined structure and is more musical than this, I kinda rushed this to get it in the comp. I really like the idea of writing music using video clips, I haven't been this excited about something for ages

Fantastic piece of work, especially for a first project... heck, even for a 100th project...
