We start the South Island at the Captain Cook monument in Ship Cove, then head south along the easy going Queen Charlotte Track. It gets tougher as we head into the Richmond Range and the long demanding section over to St Arnaud.
Songs used in this section:
"What The World Needs Now Is Love" by Burt Bacharach, "Soul Finger" by The Bar-Kays, "White Winter Hymnal" by Fleet Foxes, "I Turn My Camera on" by Spoon, "Humble Peasants" by The Most Serene Republic, and "Atlas" by Battles.
