This video is a collaboration between Sheldon Neill and Colin Delehanty. All timelapses were shot on the Canon 5D Mark II with a variety of Canon L and Zeiss CP.2 Lenses.

This whole project has been an amazing experience. The two of us became friends through Vimeo and explored a shared interest in timelapsing Yosemite National Park over an extended period of time. We'd like to expand this idea to other locations and would appreciate any suggestions for a future project.

Our hearts go out to the families of Markus Praxmarer who lost his life while climbing Half Dome on September 19th, 2011 and Ranger Ryan Hiller, who was crushed by a tree January 22nd 2012. They will be missed. (A photo of Ranger Ryan Hiller can be found to the right, above the statistics counter)

Exactly what we were going for! Nailed it!
Future suggestions...Moab,Zion,Joshua Tree
We appreciate the suggestions! We're gonna need to check those out, real soon. Thanks!
We crowded around a screen watching giving some serious "oooos and ahhhhs"
Friggin awesome.
We had to drastically cut down the amount of clips we had. So much amazing stuff, but so little time. It was an experience of a lifetime doing what we did. True challenges for the modern hiker. Keep us posted on your stuff Mike!
Mission Accomplished!
When our dollies were taking shots, we'd scout more locations or play games on our iPhones. We photographed around the clock, so take my word when I say that we were sleep deprived.
I'd recommend the Dynamic Perception Stage Zero dolly. I did my first run with it a day before a big trip:

Super easy to configure and perfect for the not-so-tech-savvy beginners.
How many days of shooting do you think you did?
Also, were any of these HDR?
These are all single exposures and were shot between early September and late November.
It was quite the experience, and we'd do it again anytime!
