We were challenged to conceive a new and invigorating way of creating a montage of classic and loved films. We must have succeeded since the spot was a runaway hit of the Promax/BDA conference in New York. Not only did the piece win two Golds in the Sssociation’s Design Competition (on top of being named a finalist in the One Show Design competition), but ‘Oscar’ also received thunderous applause at every screening and was the final spot shown at a special juried screening of groundbreaking new work in broadcast promotion.
