I was at InFocus last week and Canon was kind enough to let us take out the C300 for an hour and shoot around South Charleston, SC.

I wanted to see how the camera felt on the Glidecam 4000HD handheld with various lenses. We used Canon L - 14mm, 35mm, 50mm and 85mm.

We also used the Kessler Stealth slider with the Manfrotto 755CX3 tripod and 701 head. This is a super small setup, it's nice to know you can still use such a big camera on it. At one point we had the 300mm on this setup.

I did some light coloring on the edit with FCP and Magic bullet, but not much.

The last two shots were at the highest ISOs, one at 4000, and the other at 12,400. On the final glidecam shot we were on the 85mm and at f5.6 so I would have enough focal plane to keep the actor in focus. It's pretty awesome this was lit with the street light and stopped down to 5.6 and still doesn't have too much grain.
