Spain. Galicia. Santiago de Compostella. An unexplored and original music land. Our story
is our personal 15-day journey, with the intention of following our own Finisterrae, the
experience of our acquaintance with the land and its people through the music.

In this journey, our companion will be the sound of the bagpipe and the pandereta,
traditional songs and dances, melodic voices, picturesque settings and warm and welcoming
people. Our heroes, different bands of traditional Galician music and the natural land.

By watching this trailer, which has a small taste of our first visit to Santiago, we wish you
could give us the opportunity to return and to transfer you more images and sounds as well as
a lively and intense music experience.

Why this story

The director chose this subject for her final year project because of her 6-month stay at
Santiago de Compostella in 2010 as an Erasmus student and due to her great love for this
land’s music. Along with her friends and fellow students, they decided to make this music
journey in order to become for a while a small part of this particular everyday life and gain
new experiences.
