Analog Devices is well known for innovation. One of the reasons is the existence of the ADI research or Design Centers that are literally incubators for innovation.

Working with Steve Weatherbee of Regis Media, I had the pleasure of interviewing and editing a segment on Barrie Gilbert, an ADI Fellow; one of the most committed and charming inventors I have ever met. To me, Barrie Gilbert epitomized American innovation, a self-driven wonder for what's possible.

This video is a good example of how you can motivate other employees by introducing them to a model for motivation. Barrie Gilbert was certainly that.
