This is a demonstration of 3 different binaural audio recording techniques commonly used. The first is a binaural dummy head, the second is the jecklin disc, and the last is the OSS technique.

The dummy head was built using the tutorial found at: digdagga.com/dummy

binauralears.com silicone ears were used, ear canals were simulated as in the tutorial. Mics used were the core sound binaural mics.

    I am sorry,
The OSS technique is the name of the technique that uses a jecklin disk!

I was very interested in this but couldn't bear to watch it all the way because of that ridiculous test noise. Do you expect people to endure over 4 minutes of this?

    I lasted 1 minute...

Hello, the sound had good definition for determining the source location. We'll just have to live with it. I'd like to know of your ORTF was the classic 110mm separation and 120 degree spread of two cardioid capsules?

    Thanks in advance,

    Terry
