See how the final scene turned out here:
Basic Storyboarding isn't hard, you just need to know a few tricks.
In this tutorial we use Poser and Photoshop to do quick, easy storyboards that can be used to tell your story and get you ideas across to you collaborators.
Watch the whole clip to get a sneak preview of the opening scene of episode 01.
I used more expensive options, but everything you need to follow this tutorial is available in the following packages:
A cheap wacom tablet - $80
Poser Debut - $50
Photoshop Elements $110
I should state for the record that there are amazing storyboard artists out there that do work that is vastly superior to what you can produce with this method. If you can afford their services, it is a great investment. But if you're working with a low budget, you should be able to make effective, useful boards with the tools you have at hand.
Next week - making your boards into an animatic to test your scene.
