breath-taking photography, so little, so much, moody delivery by the actor, but i got to ask the question, we've all heard monologues at the start of a great film, some times it draws us in, actually most of the times it draws us in, but once in a while it repels us, as if the person's voice has just met the words they are speaking for the first time and they're not convincing, and the dialogue's then not convincing, i'm not saying this monologue is unconvincing, based on the delivery, i'm saying there are great monologues and there are less great, and watching this makes me wonder what makes one better than the other, part of me thinks now (and i could be wrong) that the person's engagement with the spoken words make it more convincing. And it's not necessarily about enthusiasm with the words, if you think about the Endless Summer (1966) the monologues were very dry and unemotional like this films, but they always threw fishhooks into you... Anyway, just my two-cents. Again, smashing photography and acting. Peace.

Amazing composition at 1:55 with the buildings and barbed wire, and you further outdo yourself at 2:40. A tour de force in subtlety.

I liked the cinematography and Reggie's afro, particularly the last shot (... the cinematography, but also the afro).
