I made this from the last 3 days. The trick with any time-lapse is to leave the camera in one spot for at least 2 hours. The longer the better.
If you can lock off your camera in a spot where you can walk away and come back is always handy.
You have to have a lot of patience with time-lapses, so try and entertain yourself with a book, some music or talk back radio on ABC, bring some food and watch the surroundings as you capture the world.
You have to experiment, sometimes the shot works well, sometimes it doesn't.
Like photography try and frame up the shots with good composition. I personally like the transition between day and night with the sun going out and the man made lights turning on.
Best thing though is to have fun and enjoy it!
