"Lake Orumiyeh"
For this work I wish to continue articulating a language where thought and self are considered in light of an experience in a liquid medium.
The evaporating waters of Lake Orumiyeh condense every drop to fill the mind of its visitors at the location of the installation, creating a space where meaning collapses in a movement between now and then. The spectator's mind becomes Lake Orumiyeh.
A liquid exchange between concepts and percepts. A place before an Instance of what we recognize in it.
Before the sky.
Before the sun.
Before water.
