This is Panasonic's top-of-the-line high definition "semi-professional" camcorder for 2009. It has a 3MOS system; three 1/4.1-inch CMOS sensors, each with 3 megapixels gross, 2 effective; and features an internal 120GB hard disc drive (HDD). I was able to sneak a test at PMA09 (Photo Marketing Association) Las Vegas, March 1-5, 2009. It was shot in 1080/30i, 16Mbps in the highest quality settings I could find (no 24p?), so do take that into consideration when assessing the result. It's still images where really impressive resolution wise, although color leaves a little to be desired in the video.
