Yeah, I totally understand that they want to squeeze out the money from the PPVs, and rightfully so..
But SOPA is not a fair solution. You have to weigh the consequences against the gain.. It is clearly not worth it. There has to be some kind of responsibility and consideration for other human beings.
I think it sucks so fucking much that the UFC is supporting it, because the UFC is something that was made possible because of the freedoms the internet has brought. The mainstream media was against MMA, but since there was an open dialog on the internet it was able to grow. If there was a controlled internet, during this time, the UFC would not be where it is today.
I always liked that the UFC took a stance as a family friendly organization, showing people that they care.. but that picture is torn forever.. If you support SOPA you do not give a shit about people..
