In this second part of 'Jack's Fortunate Life', Jack Featherstone relates stories from experiences and adventures while travelling across the Western Australian Desert in the late '50's. Over the years he gradually built up a series of paintings to accompany these stories, many of which relate to experiences with an Aboriginal guide, David, whom Jack clearly respects and admires for his knowledge of the desert and for his generosity of spirit.
