Sleep vs. Non-Sleep
The cats scurry around ALL night... crazy.
(I used Dream Recorder 2 for the video... it's a nifty program... wakes you up at the most convenient time in your sleep cycle, optionally wakes you up right after a dream so you vocally record it... found the demo on the apple website)

I used my MacBook to record my cat overnight to find out what she was doing. She would actually sleep most of the night. But then around 5 she would get anxious, and then at 6 would come wake us up. Once we locked her in the bathroom, she couldn't wake us up at 6, but she trained me at least to wake up at 6, even if I force myself to sleep until 7. (oh, duh, there's the amelie tag staring right at me) Dream recorder sounds interesting...
These kittens get SO antsy during the night because they nap right after sunset for a long time... you just hear them running around and bouncing off of things (or shredding things) constantly.
i hope they will behave better soon.
our kitties catch mice in the night and then we have pieces of dead mice all over the flat, i don't know if that is better haha.
Also, wow you toss and turn quite a bit!
