A documentary led by polar explorer Felicity Aston, that follows a courageous team of 8 ordinary women, with no previous experience, through a tough selection process in Norway and on to attempt to ski 900km across Antarctica to the south pole.

Chosen from across the commonwealth, some of the women had never seen snow before, experienced subzero temperatures or spent the night in a tent but they face extreme cold, the destruction of their tents in a storm, frostbite and running out of food.

This is a film about friendship and determination and the draw of one of the most extreme environments on earth - Antarctica.
