Aurorae of 24.01.2012
Massive aurorae as a result of a CME seen from Tromsø, Norway. This is my second northern lights timelapse and I am clearly seeing the need for a better camera now.
Tech: Trusty old Canon EOS 350D, some wideangle lens from Sigma (borrowed from friend). Exposure in the first half of the video is 1 sec, interval 2 sec, in the second half of the video exposure is 2 sec, interval 4 sec. Compiled into a 25 fps video played back at 50% speed - that would be a 12.5 fps video then?
