filmed and edited by Derek Vincent Smith (Pretty Lights) and Krystle Blackburn (PLM's Creative Director).
The track is a new Pretty Lights song with a classic soulful hip-hop style.

The two of us traveled together all over the world during 2011, and filmed as much as our schedules allowed. Locations included in the video include Detroit, Warsaw, Oslo, NYC, Vancouver, London, Paris, Prague, New Orleans, Auckland, Sydney, Denver and many more.
We used 2 canon 7Ds and about 6 different lenses and edited it all in FCP X.

It's fun to film with your better half!

I have a feeling much of this was done in another compositing program like after effects. If it was done all in FCP X then they are more talented than I thought.

It was definitely done all in FCP X. There was a lot of experimenting done with the compositing techniques. All the lights and composited layers were shots we took with the 7D, no motion graphics were layered. For example we filmed small lasers and sprayed hairspray thru the beams.. and filmed pinball machines with a macro lens.

i was suprised seeing polish trains on the video, but than I saw that video was filmed also in Warsaw. It was probably in July before or after AudioRiver Festival. Great music and clip! Love it!
