Ethiopian Orphans
In October 2008, I took my first trip to Ethiopia with Tom Davis of Children’s HopeChest. I put together this simple video to give you a glimpse of the beautiful children we met over there.
Since that first trip, HopeChest now has a thriving sponsorship program in Ethiopia and some of the children featured in this video have even been adopted.

God Bless you and if God willing....I'll see you in the mission field!
loved the one shot near the end where you started in close to the face, zoomed out to show background, then had a quick zoom back in to the face.
Was all of the Ethiopia footage shot with your Canon 5D Mark II?
No, the Ethiopia footage was shot on a Panasonic HVX200 in 24p. I am heading back to Ethiopia this December and I will shoot on the 5D this time! Can't wait!
Great video. Thanks! We'll be using it this Sunday for awareness of our trip to ET in a couple of weeks, to visit orphanages.
Where did you get the music?
Thank you! Are you on the HopeChest trip to Ethiopia first week of December?
The music is from APM Music.
Yes, I am! I'm really looking forward to it, and to meeting you.
Thanks for the info.
I have watched over and over again. American mother of 3 ethiopian daughters. Stunning. Wow. Great work!
What is the name of the song from APM?
Sorry for the delayed reply. I don't often get a notice that a message was left.
Thanks for the message! Glad you like the piece. Ethiopians are beautiful people! I hope I was able to capture that well.
I don't recal the name of the song, but I'll try to dig it up at some point since people keep asking.
David
All is well here. Hope the same for you and your family.
