In this episode of Wisconsin Foodie we visit with Wisconsin native, award winning chef Tony Mantuano of Spiaggia in Chiacgo, IL. Regarded internationally as an influential culinary force, Chef Tony Mantuano is the Chef/Partner at Spiaggia, the only four-star Italian restaurant in Chicago. Awarded the 2005 James Beard Foundation Award for Best Chef: Midwest, Mantuano worked in several Michelin-starred restaurants in Italy before opening Spiaggia in 1984 to critical acclaim. Chef Mantuano gives us a behind the scenes look at his restaurant as well as introduces us to his staff that prepares us a meal using products they use from from Wisconsin. We also visit with Tony at his Kenosha, Wi restaurant Mangia as he hosts the 19th annual Masters of the Grill.
