a little input: have you thought about using a motion control system (slider) to add movement without loss of the wide-angle to your timelapse? I think that you could improve with that even more. (->Dynamik Perception Dolly or DIY-Dolly, or have a look at forum.timescapes.org/phpBB3/index.php, if you don't know it yet)
Yes I definitely need to get one of those motorized slider for better results :-) for now I am looking at omnislider, with 360 degrees adjustable head....
