In July of 2010 I was fly fishing for Arctic Char in a small stream close to my home in Isafjordur, Iceland.

I taped this nice fish after it was caught and released. I rested in a slow current close to the bank for a few minuted untill it eased back to the main stream.

Arctic Char is a common species in Iceland and popular among local fisherman. It is a pretty tough fish that don´t need a big river or a lot of room to spawn. Arctic Char is a cold water fish that lives in the northern hemisphere.
