This trailer was shot as a companion piece to the album "Cos: The Original Motion Picture Score", by the Minneapolis-based, 21-piece funk band Grolar Bears.
Their debut album, "Cos" pays tribute to the scores of early 70s Blaxploitation movies. The album was recorded in dozens of places spanning over a year. We used “the suitcase” with all of our recording equipment in it to create a mobile studio. We snuck into churches, bandrooms, and auditoriums. Using sonic landscaping, we narrate through an imaginative movie.
