Filmed in Utah, Oklahoma and California, Hammertime features some of the first MTB jumping including the first MTB backflip. Mat Hoffman riding his motorized BMX bike on the gigantic half pipe is absolutely amazing. Watch Mat launch off a quarter-pipe after being towed by a motorcycle at 55 mph.

    Best mtb vid I've seen in a good while, seems like the storytelling's what's changed the least.

    When I was 16 this vid was the coolest thing I had ever seen. And it's still pretty up there. No footed seatgrab barspins on a cross country bike, ridiculous! Herrington is a legend. What is he up to now?
