"Day at Alligator Creek" is a short film set to music shot with the Canon HV20. My first attempt at filming and if you like nature/wildlife themes check it out. Please leave a comment and let me know what you think. For under $1000 the HV20 produces amazing High Definition images. On an HD TV it's unbelievable. Watch for the alligator opening his eye at :20. If you look closely at 2:17 you'll see an alligator jump out of the water. Favorite shot: Baby alligator swimming around with a dragonfly perched on it's head. Many of us are so caught up in the hectic everyday pace of our lives that we forget to open our eyes and appreciate the beauty of nature that's happening right before us. Take a few moments every day to stop and look, you'll find it no matter where you are.

Ivan 2 years agoDid you use a special lens with the HV20. If you're not in the filming business already, you should consider a carreer change right now! -

2 years ago Thanks for the feedback! All the filming was done without any special lenses. For the shallow DOF shots I just zoomed in from a distance and then used manual focus instead of auto. P.S. What is an HD widget and how do I get one? -
Francis Coral - Mellon 2 years agoVery sharp filming, very sharp. What editing software did you use? Also what in camera settings did you use for most of the film? 24P auto mode is my guess? Did you use any post processing effects or is that raw footage? -
Brian Ginn 2 years agoI enjoyed it. :)
