A shocking look at the environmental and health hazards in New Orleans 2 years after Katrina. The city needs all of our support more than ever.

Director's Note: The challenge of this video was portraying these alarming statistics in a visual way that was informative and interesting. I shot a lot of this footage when I was in New Orleans and the scale of waste and wreckage is so huge its tough to represent in a short film or video. You have to go and see it for yourself.

Graphics were done by Natalia of Renoleum. She is so talented and easy to work with. Here's her website: renoleum.com

This track and most of my music is from Jacob D. Cox who will be very famous some day. Once he is actually discovered. Check out some of his hits at: myspace.com/jacobdcox

Thanks for making this. Until recently I had no idea it was still in this bad of shape. It's a shame nothing has been done, and more so that this stuff doesn't make the news anymore. It won't be until people start getting really sick from this shit that the rest of the world will be made aware.

The news cycle spits something out when its good for ratings then drops it. I want New Orleans to be a big issue in the next election. The government we have right now has failed these people and we need to kick out the status quo. Please share the video with your friends.

After watching this, you have to remind yourself that the video is about a city in the richest and most powerful country in the world.

Money has not been the problem Steve. A lot of it has been unspent. This state is known for its incompetence and corruption. Our system of government doesn't always allow the federal government to take control of state's issues, which was a problem during the disaster recovery.

I gave quite a bit of money to the Red Cross when this happened, and I'm still pissed that they didn't direct all of the funds they received for this to the people that were affected.

You should use Natalia for your titles. She can do anything. I'm gonna upload the surfing videos next. She did all the titling on that too.

This is so well done, the montage of footage is amazing,
the titling is brilliantly done. What happened (meaning the response and handling) in NOLA is a national disgrace, this is a great reminder to take action. thanks.
