Seesmic is Loic Lemeurs new startup. It is similar to twitter except it is with video. My first reaction to twitter was 'what a daft idea'. Now I love it. First reaction to seesmic was 'what a daft idea'. I've only been using it for a day but I love it.

Why is is so good... it's chatty. Lot's of people I know but may not have met. Seeing them on camera is more real. But Seesmic is not even beta, It works ok, so lets not call it alpha. Lots of features have still to be added. My fave bit is the philosophy of Loic. He is building it like a unix pipe. Pipe all sorts of stuff in... pipe new forms out. Brilliant idea, and I love the daily startup videos.

One other thing. I created this video outside seesmic. But to upload I need an flv video. can't think of a tool that does that from mpeg. I know it exists. But it's late and I want to go to bed :-)
