We are 3 students from London who, under the inspiration and guidance of Jimmy Walker of New York, have entered the Mongol Rally. An enormous adventure in aid of the wonderful charity Mercy Corps.

Every year the Mongol rally departs from London's Hyde Park for the Gobi desert and outer Mongolia in cars which you would usually associate with a scrap heap. Our ultimate aim is to raise an awful lot of money for charity and seeing if our banger can make it half way round the world on "roads" generally reserved for goats. Mercy Corps is most deserving.

To this end we have bought ourselves an ancient black cab off eBay with the hope of not having to push it too far on it's way to Ulaanbaatar, Mongolia. We strike forth into the unknown on the 19th of July 2008. We will keep you up to date on our progress through 2 continents, 18 countries 3 deserts, across 11 mountain ranges and on to our fundraising target of £10,000.

We are doing this to help raise money for some thoroughly worthy causes that are very close to us. We hope you will join us in supporting them.
