MIDNIGHT THURSDAY 9TH FEBRUARY 2012
AN HOMAGE TO AVANT GARDE, FROM THE WAIST DOWN.
At the heart of Australia's underground performance set, Perth's prized powder-keg performance collective Voix De La Ville presents their latest incarnation "Hand Painted Legs" an homage to avant garde, from the waist down. Iconic silent star Clara Bow wore hand-painted legs during the 1920s. Like Bow, avant garde adornment accompanies the "IT" variety show on a journey of theatre art, drag, burlesque, cabaret and spoken word.
Infamous for far-out theatrical styling, Voix De La Ville is what Perth's performance scene aspires to embody...and it does so effortlessly. Taboo breakers sure to titillate and intrigue! Explicit material and nudity (promise).
