Frequency of Audition to be improved considerably.

It was felt that the evaluation process should be on continuous basis by the Bhajan coordinator of samithi .

It would be ideal if the evaluation /audition is done without advance announcement .

Incognito evaluation methods of singers is recommended .The singers could be in one room and judges in the other .Singers to be identified with number tags .

Greater role for the Bhajan coordinator(BC) of samithi in final grading process. The BC should be a part of the final grading exercise and a reasonable weightage of his judgement to be considered

Re evaluation of graded singers every year should be done to have consistency in standards.

Among the panel of judges of 3 or 4 should examine the possibility of having a professional singer from outside the organisation.

The present 4 levels of grading to be maintained.

During the audition the choice of songs to be evenly split between the judges and singer.

There should be a marking system for the parameters considered for the evaluation. This should be shared with the singer while announcing the grades. It was felt that this will help the singer to improve on deficient areas. Evaluators should suggest improvement needs to the singers.

Overall Impact to be a major consideration along with Raga,Tala etc while evaluation.
