You are looking at a beautiful pair of mid 18th Century walnut wood corner cabinets from France. They have their original marble and they are hand carved. The front of the doors have a nautical theme with mixed styling, including the Louis XVI ribbon/bow. Each door has been hand-honed from one single piece of Walnut tree. The sizing is slightly different on each corner cabinet because they were originally commissioned for a specific room. Also, there is an Ebenists mark on the left front of the larger cabinet.
These are rare, high quality cabinets with a beautiful patina that only walnut wood can get after approximately 250 years.
