This was a very special day and time for me and my immediate family. We were headed to the Port of Oakland this late afternoon to visit my cousin, Schubert Graciano. He is actually an engineer on a shipping vessel and he's also a seaman. He is the Chief Engineer in their ship for many years.

So in this video, it shows you our road trip to the Portland of Oakland, CA mostly along I-880 northbound. We arrived to the port around sunset. There were lots of those cargo containers! We had to meet him at Berth 55. Then when we arrived to the Nanjin Shipping/Berth 55, we found Schubert and Jim walking towards us.

Once we picked both of them up, we headed to Emeryville, CA where we would stop buy Best Buy and then eat dinner. We had a nice view while along I-880. We saw the late sunset sky with the San Francisco Bay to the left. Heavy traffic was encountered as we exited. Then we drove towards Best Buy and going through Emeryville and passed by the Bay Street. It was sort of like a European feel. After a good stop at Best Buy and after my cousin's happy shopping, we headed to the Bay Street. By the way, we had to ask for some directions how to get back to the port later.

Then we ate at P.F. Chang's China Bistro along the Bay Street. They had awesome food, and my favorite was the lemon chicken and the honey walnut shrimp.

It was nearing 9 p.m. and my cousin Schubert and Jim had to quickly go back to the port. So we left Bay Street and headed towards the port. However, we sort of got turned around and got lost while along the way back but luckily we found the way back to the port.

This was a fun evening here at Emeryville/Oakland, CA with our long lost cousin, Schubert G.!
