This Can't Be Love
When Rodgers and Hart penned this little ditty in 1938 for "The Boys from Syracuse", they had no possible way of knowing that it would be recorded as a solo guitar performance in 2009. What they did know, however, was that the human heart strings are pulled taut and tangled deep in every generation, and thus wrote this ironic little tune about the onset of a non-love. Boat Safety Films proprietor Giga Shane arranges and contributes a second entry to the Jazz Archival series.
