Roppongi, Tokyo, Japan
Fuji Neopan 1600
These shots were taken while waiting for the first train in Roppongi Station in Tokyo. The contrast of people in this public space is what fascinates me, while some people are winding down their night at 5am, others are starting their work day. The passing of bodies in a time and place all with different origins, destinations and intentions is masked in anonymity. The cutting of the 16mm scraps with the 35mm stills at the end is to re contextualize these images in a more lively way and see what the effect is on the audience's voyeuristic view point.
