Overnight in the San Gorgonio Wilderness.

An overnight trip in the San Gorgonio Wilderness near Big Bear in Southern California.

This was in December of 2011. Sometimes it's nice to get out with friends for a quick overnight hike. It's especially fun to hike by the light of the moon - we didn't even need our headlamps.

There was a full lunar eclipse scheduled for the morning we were out; sadly the cloud in the west precluded a decent view. The Sunrise was beautiful and made up for it.
