February 24, 2009 - Turner Hall Ballroom - Milwaukee, WI

While waiting for this filming we hung around the balcony of Turner Hall Ballroom during Brett Dennen's soundcheck. We heard fantastic cuts from his new record Hope For The Hopeless and even a couple verses of a Bob Marley tune. Once we met up with him, all it took was a couple of strums of his guitar, matched with his signature croon to completely filled up the momentary quiet of pre-show activities. The result is a beautiful acoustic take on "Follow Your Heart," including momentary window captures of rush hour traffic leaving downtown. That night, Dennen filled the venue up and delivered like he always does, proof that he's here to stay.
