Orlando's merry pranksters Alias Punch released their Hyberborea 7" and hosted the first installment of Radioshaq this past Saturday. Sharing the bill were local artpoppers Billy and the riff heavy antics of Florida Night Heat from Tampa. The group plans to make Radioshaq a regular fixture in the Orlando in effort to highlight regional bands and promote more interactive shows. I'm eager to see what they have in store for the next one because the evening's atmosphere was truly exciting. It's not often that you go to a show with three truly unique bands, glow in the dark greek columns, and an absurdly delicious bake sale hosted by The Moon is a Disco Ball.
