HV20 macro test
Shot with a reversed 50mm 1.8 in front with 1 inch of working distance. About 40 seconds in I tried out the 40x digital zoom to see the quality. Shot in AV mode @F8.
F8 is awsome lots more DOF, 40X is cool but really kills the detail .

You get super magnification but you have to be about 1inch away from what you film . It's real hard with bugs because the scare away.
The spiders are very animated.
They are with a little help. I have my macro rig as a profile pic.
Simply fantastic, I kept calling people over to watch this stuff, especially the weird spider with the square red head and headlight eyes !

BTW, You can buy an inexpensive male-male (ring)adaptor to attach the reversed lens to the HV20 and eliminate the tape.
love the spiders though!
::: am not going out anymore :::
thanks.
I used a reversed 50mm slr lens , it gives you alot of magnification but about 1-2 inches of working distance. It takes a little practice but the results are good.
Great Catch!
