I used to go out when I was younger but not since my kids were born.

It get huge there a few times a year and I try to check it it out , it's impressive.

Thereis usually 1 surfer but mostly body boarders and body surfers.

That spot is also known as a one of the best siders for Skimboarding :D

Cool stuff, I love skimboarding and I have few DvD of Bill Bryan riding the wedge and it look's really scary :D

Yah there is some sick skim guys there too. I think I have some picks of Bill too.

I don't know of any surfers/bodyboarders dieing there but I know for sure 4-5 fishermen have died over the last 10-15 years. It's crazy it will be a 20ft + day where the swells are going over the jetty and guys are still fishing on the jetty. They get wiped off and smashed on the rocks.
