The tour is also no longer a prototype, but an actual iPod Touch tour that we have been offering since May of 2008. To the best of my knowledge we are one of the first in the country (world?).

This is a video for a prototype museum tour that utilizes the iPod Touch and the iPhone at the San Jose Museum of Art. The tour uses the built in Safari browser on both devices and runs over wifi. Currently the tour prototype only works with our permanent collection exhibition.

Check it out on an iPhone or iPod Touch at sjma.mobi. Since it is built only for the Mobile Safari web browser it does not view well through other browsers. Leave comments!
