On Friday Feb 10 7:00 Pm at the Wynfrey Hotel Galleria Hoover, The Vulcan Performers will present their fifth Anti Valentines dance event to include a dance show, family dance party, vendor/arts tables, silent auction, featuring a goods drive for "Three Hots and a Cot military homeless veterans, and YWCA Kids In Distress.
The dance show will include performances by professional Vulcan Performers dancers and Rhythm N Motion amateur students in styles such as ballroom, hip hop, and jazz. This is the 20th Vulcan Performers event since 2007 and previous events have been featured by
Bham News, ABC 33/40, CBS, NBC, FOX6, and Over the Mountain Journal.
We will host a dance party immediately following the show with all of your couples dance and hip hop favorites! We will play a lot of the popular dance couples dance songs as well as line dances like the wobble, cupid shuffle, cha cha slide, and more! From 6pm to 7pm will be free dance lessons and dance party music! From 7pm to 7:45pm will be our Anti Valentines show with the post show dance party immediately following! All is included in the $10 ticket price or
buy a ticket online for $8! The party is open to all for the "Anti Valentines" experience instead
of your tradition Valentines dance!
Goods Drives for the Charities will begin January 7, 2012 at Rhythm N Motion. Please bring any donations to Rhythm N Motion dance studio in Hoover or to the February 10 event at the Wynfrey Hotel

Three Hots and a Cot is the adopted charity for Vulcan Performers that supports Homeless Vets and their families and assists them with finding jobs and counseling. There are multiple families living in the two assistance homes in Birmingham. Three Hots and a Cot has asked for goods items such as household cleaning, toiletries, razors, consumable goods.
YWCA has outreach programs in the city of Birmingham to help area children. KIDS (Kids in Distress) Korner serves infants, toddlers and preschoolers. The program functions off federal dollars and donations, the children attend free. Many of these kids lack basic necessities like shoes, socks, etc. Any goods would greatly be appreciated.
