Aurelia Paumelle is a fashion designer who lives and works in Berlin. Originally from France, Aurelia took her first steps in Paris where she trained at the renowned École de la Chambre Syndicale de la Haute Couture Parisienne as a model maker.
After her studies, Aurelia Paumelle collaborated with some of the most prestigious 'maisons'. Amongst them were La Maison Yves St Laurent, where she learnt the importance and the rigour of a simple and articulate line, Loulou de la Falaise, Balanciaga, Rykiel and trendy Vanessa Bruno. After some time, Aurelia Paumelle found the courage to move from Paris to Berlin to take her first steps as an independent fashion designer and started working on her first menswear collection.
Follow her steps tomorrow at the REFUGIUM VERNISSAGE, which takes place at her own work space. Taking cues from Berlin streets, Aurelia Paumelle will present her well-crafted line of sculptural menswear and prove that art, textiles and craft can blend together to form one perfect piece of art.
