During a recent trip to Victoria with my wife Lea I thought I might experiment and make an impromptu video of our Horse Draw Cart mini-tour through Melbourne. The video comprises of around 500 individual still photos taken with a Canon EOS 450D. The images were then pulled into Adobe After Effects where I applied a slight colour saturation, set the frame rate to 4fps, applied a rough vignette around the outside and dropped in a track by DJ Money Mark and set it to render unedited.

I’ll freely admit that the end result is not the most amazing piece of photo-video art, but it was my first attempt, I didn’t plan anything - it was completely off the cuff, so as a result, I am quite pleased that it wasn’t a complete disaster.
