On February 8, 2012, President Obama congratulated members of the ASEE Engineering Deans Council on ASEE's partnership with the President's Commission on Jobs and Competitiveness (PCJC) to increase the number of well qualified engineering graduates through greater attention to retention, graduation, and diversity of engineering students.
