In celebration of the Mois de la francophonie, EFGB is organising an exceptional event called Voyages en Francophonie. The event will take place on March 17, 2012 from 10am to 5pm in Watertown, MA.
More info on efgboston.org/vef
The event will be twofold :
1) a continuous programming with art workshops around the 10 words of the Francophonie
2) booths each representing a ƒrench-speaking country (so far we'll have France, Senegal, Switzerland, Morocco, Lebanon, Algeria, Haiti, Quebec, and Belgium) with people from the country reading stories to children, playing games and offering food tastings from the country.
3) a francophone books sale.
4) a scavenger/treasure hunt
There will also be micro-events throughout the day: a conference by the Délégation du Québec on Universities in QC, lectures and meetings with authors and writers such as Annie Groovie (anniegroovie.com), Emmanuel Normant, Catherine Ribes-de Palma and Mady, a French comics author, a silent auction and a raffle.
