  • Thank you, Maldives. Yes it will be difficult and probably painful, but it can be done. Say it again and again in Copenhagen

    "NOT STUPID" BREAKS RECORDS
    =============================
    The Film Council carried out an official survey and were totally bowled over by the results, which are way, way better than for a normal film:

    98% of viewers liked the film
    (56%: excellent, 31%: very good, 11%: good, 2%: fair, 0%: poor),

    98% said they would recommend it to their friends and.... wait for it....

    75% of them had heard about the film from word of mouth (as opposed to our non-existent advertising, reviews etc).

    Mohamed Nasheed, this is a bold, creative and courageous decision and just the sort of leadership the whole world needs.

    Wow I feel sorry for him. Not because his islands are going to wash away but because he believes reducing carbon emissions will change it.

    Humans give themselves too much credit. Instead of wasting the peoples money he should be buying boats to get them to higher land.

    I personally don't drive a car, try to buy all my food locally if I can't grow it, reduce and reuse what I can. But not to change the environment. I do it for my health and well being.

    People need to re-focus and realize how much money is being wasted due to popular belief and stop trying to build giant band-aids to put on the planet. The major problem humans are facing is overpopulation but the problem is we're going backwards in that regard and only putting more funding and research into making the problem worse.

    Here is a cool video I came across that explains how so many impressionable people fall into this "fix global warming campaign"
